Truth in Advertising or Are you getting reliable information?
Welcome to my first blog on wellness. I am a Nutrition Educator with a Master of Science in Nutrition Education from Georgia State University. I will be focusing on many different health and wellness issues; how to live healthier, better eating, getting active and discussing the truth behind the headlines you read in the news.
What I will not be blogging about is the the Dukan Diet, the Abs Diet, the Macrobiotic Diet, the Biggest Loser Diet, the HCG Diet (you get the idea), although I might present some true data about them. I will also NOT be blogging about calories, fat grams, sugar grams, how much weight I have lost or gained, how fat I feel in certain jeans or how to have a flat belly in 3 days.
I want you to have a fun site to find reliable answers to real health questions. Consider this the No-Bull blog. But, that means that sometimes your questions won't have an absolute answer. We know that smoking increases the likelihood of early death but we really don't know if high fructose corn syrup is responsible for the obesity epidemic.
Feel free to post questions in the comments and I'll get you the facts. No-bull, straight-forward.
